The basics
What are the classic extensions?
The classic extensions are the 25 extensions Animation Addons made for Elementor 3, such as Scroll Smoother, Text Animation, Popup and Custom CSS. Each one adds a capability to the widgets and sections you already use. On Elementor 4 they are rebuilt for Atomic Elements: 20 have an Elementor 4 version, some under a new name, and the classic versions keep working on Elementor 3 sites.

Classic extension questions
Do the classic extensions still work on my Elementor 3 sites?
Yes. Updating Animation Addons does not change sites that are still on Elementor 3. The classic extensions keep working there, with the settings you already made.
Are the Elementor 4 extensions the same as the classic ones?
They do the same jobs. 20 of the 25 classic extensions have an Elementor 4 version, rebuilt for Atomic Elements, and each card on this page links to its Elementor 4 page. For 2 more, an Elementor 4 element does the job, and 3 are Elementor 3 only for now.
Which classic extensions have a new name on Elementor 4?
On Elementor 4, Tilt Effect is Tilt, Animation is Regular Animation, Scroll Smoother is Parallax, Sticky/Pin Element is Sticky, ScrollTo is Scroll To, Image Reveal on Hover is Image Hover and Cursor Move Effect is Mouse Move Effect. The other 13 keep their names.
Where are Portfolio Filter and Gallery Filter on Elementor 4?
On Elementor 4, the Atomic Loop Filters element does their job: filters for a Loop Grid by category, tag, price, rating, custom fields or date. Portfolio Filter and Gallery Filter keep working on your Elementor 3 sites.
Do I need a new license for Elementor 4?
No. One Animation Addons Pro license covers Elementor 3 and Elementor 4. Update the plugin and the Elementor 4 extensions appear on any site running Elementor 4.
Which classic extensions are free?
7 are free in the plugin on WordPress.org: Custom CSS, Template Library, Popup, Custom Fonts, Post Type Builder, Custom Icon and Code Snippet. The other 18 come with Animation Addons Pro.
