FAQ

Questions about Dynamic Tags

Can I use dynamic tags in Elementor without Elementor Pro?

Yes. Animation Addons Pro adds Dynamic Tags to Elementor 4, and it runs on Elementor Free. Switch on Dynamic Tags under Animation Addon > Settings > Extensions, then open Elementor's dynamic tag picker on a supported field and bind it to post, author, site, archive, comment or ACF data.

How do I show an ACF field in Elementor 4?

Install Advanced Custom Fields and assign a field group to your content. Then, with Animation Addons Dynamic Tags switched on, select a Heading or Paragraph, open the dynamic tag picker on its text field and choose the ACF group and field. Open Preview on a real post to see that post's value.

Which Elementor 4 elements support dynamic tags?

Animation Addons Dynamic Tags works wherever Elementor 4 shows its dynamic tag picker, which depends on the field type Elementor assigns. Text fields on Heading and Paragraph are the typical place. If a field has no picker, use an Animation Addons post element such as Post Title or Post Image, which read the current post automatically.

What are the limits of Dynamic Tags?

Animation Addons Dynamic Tags needs a licensed Animation Addons Pro, and only works on fields that show Elementor's dynamic tag picker. ACF values need the Advanced Custom Fields plugin and a field group assigned to that content. The editor may not show real values on a template, so check every binding in Preview on an actual post or archive.

Do I need dynamic tags if I use the Loop Grid?

Not for the basics. The free Animation Addons Loop Grid uses Post Title, Post Image and other post elements that read each post automatically. Add Animation Addons Dynamic Tags when a card also needs ACF fields or author details, or when a value should sit inside your own Heading or Paragraph.

Are dynamic tags bad for SEO?

No. Animation Addons Dynamic Tags fills in values that WordPress already stores, such as the post title or an ACF field, and they reach visitors and search engines as ordinary text in the page. Search engines see each post's own title and details, which usually reads better than generic template copy.
