Features

What you get with the Advanced Heading.

Every option below is a real control in the Advanced Heading panel or part of how the element renders. Nothing here needs custom code.

A colour picker that understands opacity

The Text colour swatch colours the selected words only. Opacity / colour code opens a row where you paste an exact hex or set transparency, so brand guides with tints are matched exactly.

Inline formats and links in one toolbar

Six one-click formats plus Link sit in the Content toolbar, so a footnote anchor never forces you to split a headline into three elements. Clear formatting resets the selection when a client changes their mind.

Pick the tag for structure, not looks

HTML Tag offers H1–H6, div, p and span. Choose the level your page outline needs, then style it freely in the Style tab.

Protection against broken markup

If you type a block tag such as <h2> or <p> into the Content, the wrapper switches to div automatically. A heading inside a heading would make the browser push your text outside the element; this prevents it.

Typed HTML for the edge cases

Allowed tags such as <mark>, <small>, <code>, <abbr> and <br> render as real elements with their class, id and style. Tags outside the list stay visible as text, so you can see they were not applied.

Built on the atomic base

How the Advanced Heading is built (atomic structure)

Why it mattersOne Class styles every heading on the site while the exceptions live inside the text. The only base style is margin: 0, as on Elementor's Heading, so the two swap without spacing jumps.

FAQ

Questions about the Advanced Heading

How do I make one word a different colour in an Elementor heading?

Add the Advanced Heading from Animation Addons for Elementor, type the heading, select the word and click Text colour in the Content toolbar. Only that word changes; the rest keeps the Style tab colour. The Opacity / colour code button sets an exact hex or transparency. It works on Elementor Free with no custom CSS or second widget.

Can I edit the Advanced Heading text directly on the canvas?

No. The Animation Addons Advanced Heading is edited in the panel's Content box, where the formatting toolbar lives, and the canvas updates as you type. Elementor's canvas inline editor only attaches to its own core elements, so if typing on the canvas matters more than per-word colour, use Elementor's Heading for that headline.

Does the Advanced Heading work without Elementor Pro?

Yes. The Advanced Heading is part of the free Animation Addons for Elementor plugin and runs on Elementor Free with the Atomic Editor on. Every formatting option is free. Text Animation and Regular Animation, which move the heading on load or scroll, are optional Animation Addons Pro extensions.

Will the Advanced Heading slow down my page?

No. The Animation Addons Advanced Heading ships no stylesheet and no script of its own; it outputs one heading tag with inline formatting. Script only loads if you add a Pro animation, and Pro's Lazy Animation setting loads the animation library when the animated element nears the viewport.

Is a two-colour Elementor heading still good for SEO?

Yes. The Animation Addons Advanced Heading renders a real H1–H6 tag with the text in the HTML, so search engines and screen readers read the full sentence, coloured words included. Bold, colour or superscript do not change the heading level. Keep one H1 per page and check contrast on the accent word.

Can I animate an Advanced Heading on scroll?

Yes, with Animation Addons Pro. The Text Animation extension animates the Advanced Heading by character or word, or with Text Move, Text Reveal, Text Scale and Text Invert effects, on page load, on scroll or with scroll. Regular Animation adds presets such as Classic Fade Up. Pro also includes Reduced Motion controls.
