What is Live Events for Elementor?
Live Events is a Pro Elementor widget from Animation Addons that lists your events on a vertical timeline. Each entry shows how long ago it was posted, then a photo, a title with an optional highlight, a meta line and a Read More link. It reads a query, usually the plugin’s Live Events post type, and offers Normal, Aside and Overlay layouts.
The Live Events widget for Elementor is a classic widget for the Elementor 3 editor that keeps working in Elementor 4, and it does not need Elementor Pro. As an Elementor events addon it lists events as a timeline, not as a month calendar. Want a hand-typed carousel of upcoming dates instead? The free Event Slider does that.

Questions about Live Events
How do I add an Elementor event listing?
Add each event as a Live Events post in WordPress, then drag the Live Events widget from Animation Addons Pro onto your page and set Source to Live Events. The widget lists them on a timeline, newest first. No code is needed.
Is it a separate Elementor events plugin?
No. Live Events is one widget inside Animation Addons Pro, so you do not install another events plugin. It adds its own Live Events post type for the entries.
Is the Live Events widget free?
No. It is part of Animation Addons Pro and works with Elementor Free; Elementor Pro is optional. The free Event Slider and Posts Timeline widgets cover similar needs.
Does Live Events stream video?
No. It lists your live sessions, webinars and event live streams as posts. Link each entry to the page where the stream or replay plays.
What does the time label on the timeline show?
How long ago the event post was published, such as 3 hours ago or 2 weeks ago. It is worked out when the page loads.
Can I show only recent live sessions?
Yes. Set Date to a range such as Past Day, Past Week or Past Month, or pick the Last 24 Hours query. Order By Date with descending Order puts the newest first.
Can visitors load more events on the page?
Yes. Set Pagination to Load On Click to add a Load More button below the list. Numbers and Previous/Next links are also available.
Which layouts does it offer?
Normal stacks the label, photo, title and button; Aside places the photo beside the text, on the left or right; Overlay puts the text on top of the photo.
Does it work in Elementor 4?
Yes. It is a classic widget, so Elementor 4 lists it with the legacy widgets and it works on the same page as atomic elements.
