Everything an event needs

Each item in Events has Choose Image, Name, Date, Description and Link, so one slide tells visitors what, when and where to book.

A ready-made round layout

The photo and the content card are circles that overlap, a look that stands out from square cards. On phones the card moves under the photo.

Event slider with a button

The Button section has the Button widget’s Style, Hover Style, Text and Icon, and links to each event. It gives you an Elementor event slider with button for tickets or booking.

Autoplay and loop

Turn on Autoplay, set the Autoplay delay, and use Loop so the event carousel never ends. This is the Elementor event slider autoplay.

Arrows and pagination

Use your own arrow icons in Navigation, and show Pagination as bullets, a fraction or a progress bar.

Touch and speed

Let visitors swipe with Allow Touch Move and set the Animation Speed and Space Between.

How to show upcoming events in Elementor

Five steps, no code. The bold names are the labels in the Elementor panel.

  1. Install and activate Animation Addons for Elementor from WordPress.org, and turn on Event Slider in the plugin’s element list.

  2. Open your page in Elementor, search the panel for Event Slider and drag it onto the page.

  3. In Events, add each event with Choose Image, Name, Date, Description and Link.

  4. In Button, set the text and hover effect; in Slider Options, set Autoplay, Loop, Navigation and Pagination.

  5. Style the image, card, button, arrows and pagination in the Style tab, check it on mobile and publish.

Questions about the Event Slider

How do I show upcoming events in Elementor?

Drag the free Event Slider from Animation Addons onto the page and add each event with an image, name, date, description and link. The widget lays them out as a carousel with a Get ticket button. No code is needed.

Is there a free Elementor event slider?

Yes. The Event Slider is in the free Animation Addons plugin on WordPress.org and works with Elementor Free. Elementor Pro is optional. The rise-in on scroll in demo 01 is an Animation Addons Pro animation.

Does the Event Slider pull events from a calendar?

No. As an Elementor events widget it shows the events you type in, so it suits a short list you update by hand. For many events, a post type or an events plugin with its own listing works better.

Where does the Get ticket button link to?

Each event has its own Link field, so every button can open its own ticket page, booking form or event post.

Can I change the button text and effect?

Yes. The Button section has the same Style, Hover Style, Text, Icon and Icon Position options as the Button widget.

Can the Elementor event carousel play on its own?

Yes. Turn on Autoplay and set the Autoplay delay. Autoplay Interaction decides whether it stops once a visitor uses the arrows or swipes.

How does it look on phones?

Below 992 px the round card moves under the photo and overlaps it a little, so the date, name and button stay easy to read.

How is it different from the Content Slider?

The Event Slider is a ready event layout with a photo, date and button. The Content Slider slides any text or template you build.

Does it work in Elementor 4?

Yes. It is a classic widget, so Elementor 4 lists it with the legacy widgets and it works on the same page as atomic elements.
