Elementor Registration Form: Create WordPress Users from Your Own Design

Create User turns an Animation Addons Form submission into a real WordPress account. Design the sign-up page in Elementor 4, name your fields, pick Subscriber or Customer. The password creates the account and is never stored or emailed.

  • Subscriber or Customer role
  • Field names matched automatically
  • Existing accounts never modified
  • Password used once, never stored

WordPress's own registration screen (Settings › General › Anyone can register) is free; Create User gives you one that matches your site.

Features

What you get with Create User.

Every point below is a real control in the Create User panel section or part of how it works. Nothing here needs custom code.

Your design, not the default WordPress screen

Build the registration page in Elementor 4 with your fonts, colours and copy, not wp-login.php.

Field names matched for you

Name a field email or mail and Create User finds it; the Create User tab's checklist shows what's missing.

Safe roles only

Role offers Subscriber or Customer, re-checked on the server, so an edited request can never create an administrator.

Passwords handled carefully

The password is used once to create the account and is never emailed, sent to webhooks or kept in readable form.

One submit, every action

The same sign-up can also send the Admin Email, an Auto Reply welcome, a Webhook and a Redirect.

Step by step

How to add Create User in Elementor 4

FAQ

Questions about Create User

How do I create a registration form in Elementor?

Add the Animation Addons Form to a page in Elementor 4 with an email field and the Password (AAE) field. Under Actions After Submit, click Manage Actions, open the Create User tab and switch on Create WordPress User, then pick a role. The form works on Elementor Free; Create User needs Animation Addons Pro.

Can I make a registration form without Elementor Pro?

Yes. The Animation Addons Form runs on Elementor Free, and the Create User extension needs an active Animation Addons Pro licence rather than Elementor Pro. It works only on the Animation Addons Form, not Elementor's Atomic Form. Your form creates real WordPress accounts, can email the admin and the new user, and can redirect to a welcome page.

Which fields does the Create User action need?

Animation Addons Create User needs an email field, named email, user_email, email_address or mail, and the Password (AAE) field. A username is optional; without one it is generated from the email. First and last name are optional too, and a single full-name field is split for you. The Create User tab shows a checklist of what it found.

What role do new users get?

You choose per form in Animation Addons Create User: Subscriber or Customer. Customer is WooCommerce's role, so pick it on WooCommerce stores where members will use the same account at checkout. The role is re-checked on the server against an allow-list, so nobody can create an administrator or editor account by tampering with the form.

What happens if someone registers with an email that already exists?

Animation Addons Create User skips account creation when the email already belongs to a WordPress user, and it never modifies an existing account. Add a short line near the button pointing returning members to your login page, and use the free Redirect action to send new members to a welcome page.

Does the form store the password?

No, not in readable form. Create User uses the password once to create the WordPress account, and Animation Addons never emails it or sends it to webhooks. The Password (AAE) field's Storage setting defaults to "Never store (recommended)", which records the field as asterisks; the alternative, "Store one-way hash", keeps only an irreversible digest.

Does Create User log the new user in or build a login form?

No. Animation Addons Create User creates the account and, if you choose, emails the admin and the new user. It does not sign the visitor in or provide a login form. Use the free Redirect action to send new members to your login or welcome page, and keep your existing login method.
