Features

What you get with the Form.

Every option below is a real control in the Form panel or part of how the element renders. Nothing here needs custom code.

Every field is a real atomic element

Give every input one Class and change every form on the site at once. Headings or images can sit between fields, because the form is an open container.

Submissions you can find and export

Entries are listed under Form Submissions, where you filter, delete and export them to CSV. Each records its page and UTM parameters, so you see which campaign brought the lead.

Four free actions, retried if they fail

Admin Email, Auto Reply, Webhook and Redirect are free, and emails accept smart tags such as {all_fields}. Email and webhook run after the visitor's response, and failed attempts retry and are logged.

Secure file uploads

Set Allowed types, Max size (MB), Multiple files and Max files. Uploads go to a private folder with dangerous file types blocked on the server.

Spam protection without puzzles

Honeypot and Minimum Submit Time stop most bots with no challenge for real visitors, and repeated rapid submissions are rate-limited. Pro adds reCAPTCHA v3.

Better completion on every device

Set Autofill per field so browsers fill names and addresses, and write your own Required message per field. Hide Form After Success controls what visitors see after sending.

Pro when the form grows

Pro adds multi-step, Calculation totals, more fields, Conditional Display, regex validation, a Create User action, reCAPTCHA v3, and Brevo and Mailchimp. If a licence lapses, a multi-step form shows every field on one page and keeps collecting entries.

  1. Install and activate Animation Addons for Elementor, then open a page in Elementor with the Atomic Editor on.

  2. Drag Form onto the canvas. It drops in with first name, last name, email, message, a checkbox and a submit button. Or use Apply Preset to start from a ready-made form.

  3. Add, remove or reorder fields. Give each field a Name (the key it is saved under) and set Required and Autofill.

  4. Select the Form, open Actions After Submit > Manage Actions, choose a storage mode and add Admin Email, Auto Reply, Webhook or Redirect.

  5. In Bot Shield, turn on Honeypot and set a Minimum Submit Time of a few seconds.

  6. Style the fields with Classes, publish, send a test entry and check it under Form Submissions.

FAQ

Questions about the Form

How do I make a form in Elementor 4 without Elementor Pro?

Install the free Animation Addons for Elementor plugin and drag the Form element onto your page. The Animation Addons Form runs on Elementor Free with the Atomic Editor on. It includes text, email, textarea, checkbox, radio, select and file upload fields, plus admin email, auto-reply, webhook and redirect actions.

Is the Animation Addons Form the same as Elementor's Atomic Form?

No. Elementor's Atomic Form is part of Elementor Pro and offers email, collect-submissions and webhook actions. The Animation Addons Form is a separate atomic element that runs on Elementor Free and adds a redirect, an auto-reply to the visitor, spam protection and free file uploads. Animation Addons Pro adds multi-step forms, calculations and conditional fields.

Can I create a multi-step form in Elementor 4?

Yes, with Animation Addons Pro. It adds Form Step and Next and Previous Step buttons to the Animation Addons Form. Each step can have a title in a progress indicator, Auto Step Navigation can move visitors forward, and steps change with a Fade, Slide or Fade + Slide transition that runs in pure CSS.

How do I stop spam on an Elementor form?

The free Animation Addons Form has two invisible checks under Bot Shield: a Honeypot field that bots fill but people never see, and a Minimum Submit Time that rejects forms sent faster than a person could type. Repeated rapid submissions are also rate-limited. Animation Addons Pro adds reCAPTCHA v3.

Why are my Elementor form emails not arriving?

The Animation Addons Form sends Admin Email and Auto Reply through WordPress's own mailer, so delivery depends on your host. Install an SMTP plugin connected to a mail service, then send a test entry. Entries are saved in Form Submissions even if an email fails, and failed emails retry automatically after 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 2 hours.

Is the form GDPR-friendly, and what data does it store?

The Animation Addons Form stores entries in your own WordPress database, not on a third-party server. Each entry keeps the field values, page URL, referrer, user agent and UTM parameters; the IP is saved only as a salted hash. You can delete entries in Form Submissions. Add a consent checkbox where your privacy policy needs one.

Does the Elementor form support file uploads for free?

Yes. File Upload is free in the Animation Addons Form. Set allowed file types, a maximum size in megabytes and whether visitors can send several files. Files are stored privately, executables, scripts, SVG and HTML are always blocked on the server, and uploads from abandoned forms are deleted daily.

Is the Animation Addons Form accessible and fast?

The Animation Addons Form marks required and invalid fields for screen readers, links error text to its field, and announces success and error messages through live regions. Autofill hints help on phones. Its script and styles load only on pages that contain a form, and the success response returns as soon as the entry is saved.
