Elementor team member card

Add the Image, Name, Designation and Description in one widget. Choose the Name HTML Tag, such as h3 or p.

Two layouts

Set Style to One for icons under the text, or Two for icons on the photo that appear on hover.

In Style Two, set placement to Bottom, Left, Right or Center to choose where the hover icons slide in from.

Elementor team social icons

Turn on Show Social Icons, then add each Icon and Link in the list. Set a Color and Background Color per icon.

Add a URL and both the photo and the name become links. Style the name with its own Hover Color.

Step by step

How to add a team member card in Elementor

Five steps, no code. The bold names are the labels in the Elementor panel.

  1. Install and activate Animation Addons for Elementor from WordPress.org, and turn on Team under Widgets.

  2. Open your page in Elementor, search the panel for Team and drag it into a column or container.

  3. Choose the Style, then upload the Image and fill in Name, Designation and Description.

  4. Open Social Media, keep Show Social Icons on and add an Icon and Link for each profile. In Style Two, pick the placement.

  5. Copy the widget for each person, style the name and icons in the Style tab, check it on mobile and publish.

Questions about the Team Widget

How to add a team member in Elementor?

Install the free Animation Addons plugin, drag the Team widget onto your page and fill in the image, name, designation and social links. Copy the widget for each person.

Is the Team Widget free?

Yes. It is an Elementor team widget free of charge, part of the Animation Addons plugin on WordPress.org, and it works with Elementor Free and Elementor Pro.

Can I show several team members in one widget?

No. One Team Widget is one member. Place one in each column or container cell, or use a container grid, to build an Elementor team page.

How do the hover social icons work?

Set Style to Two. The icons are hidden, then fade in and slide over the photo when a visitor hovers it. Placement sets the direction.

Where can the social icons sit?

In Style One they sit under the text. In Style Two, set placement to Bottom, Left, Right or Center. Icons come from the Icon control in the list.

Can I link the photo to a profile page?

Yes. Add a URL in the Content section and both the photo and the name link to it. The name also has its own Hover Color.

Can I make round team photos?

Yes. Set the image Border Radius to 100% and give the image the same Width and Height, with Object Fit set to Cover.

Should I use this or an Image Box?

Use the Team Widget when you need a job title, social icons or hover icons in one widget. Use an Image Box for plain image and text cards.
