Post Rating

Show post ratings on your page easily with the Post Rating widget. Display scores as a full list of ratings or a single average, and customize the icons and alignment to fit your design. This widget shows the ratings as a list or an average, but does not allow users to submit ratings. 

It lets visitors quickly see feedback while keeping your site clean and interactive.  

Requirement 

• Elementor (Page Builder) 
• Animations Addons (Our Plugin)  

Tip: Make sure Animation Addons is installed and activated on your WordPress site before you start.   

How To Activate Post Rating

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard. 
2. Click on Animation Addons. 
3. Head to the Widgets Tab. 
4. Under Dynamic, toggle on Post Rating.

Click the ‘+’ icon in the Elementor editor to add a new element. Search for Post Rating Form in the search field. When it appears, drop it onto the section where you want it to show.

Layout 

Once you click on Post Rating, all the options will appear under Layout.

 Layout: Layout option lets you choose how the rating will appear on your post. It offers two display styles, such as ‘List View’ and ‘Average Rating’.  

• List View – Shows individual user ratings or rating options in a list format.

Ideal if you want users to rate multiple items (like products or posts) or display rating choices one below another.

• Average Rating – Displays the overall average score based on all user ratings.
  Perfect for showing a summary, like “4.6 out of 5,” instead of individual votes.
  

For example, “Average Rating” is selected here. You can choose any option based on your preference.

Rating Icon: The Rating Icon option lets you choose the icon used for rating. You can select icons like Star, Heart, Thumb, or other available shapes to match your design style.

In this example, the Star icon is selected. You can choose any rating icon you prefer.

Alignment: The Alignment setting controls where the rating section appears inside the container. You can align it to the Left, Center, or Right to fit your page layout.

In this example, Center is selected. You can choose any option you prefer.

You Did It 

You’ve successfully set up your post ratings and customized them to match your site’s style. Now your visitors can easily see how posts or products are rated at a glance, whether as a detailed list or a clean average score. 

With the right icons and alignment, your ratings not only provide useful feedback but also enhance the look and feel of your content. Your page is more interactive, engaging, and ready to impress.
