Templates can be reused across posts or portfolio items, allowing you to build flexible, fully dynamic layouts in WordPress without writing any code. Requirement Elementor (Page Builder) Animations Addons (Our Plugin)  Tip: Make sure Animation Addons is installed and activated on your WordPress site before you start. How To Activate Post Content Go to your WordPress Dashboard. Click on Animation Addons. Head to the Widgets Tab. Under Dynamic, toggle on Post Content. 1. Go to your WordPress dashboard ➜ Posts ➜ Add Post ➜ Edit With Elementor. You can also use the Edit option if you prefer. 2. Now, copy and paste any single post layout into the Elementor editor. Similarly, you can write your post content here as well. This lets you reuse your saved design without manually recreating it. 3. Again, go back to the WordPress dashboard, click on Animation Addons ➜ Theme Builder. 4. After that, click on ‘Add New Template’ to select the post content type. 5. Next, set a template name of your choice. Then select a ‘Type’ Single to determine which template content you want to display dynamically inside your layout. 6. In the Display section, you can control which type of single content widget appears. For example, you can choose Posts Singular or any other custom post type you want to display, such as Portfolio Singular, blog posts, etc. For example, to use the Portfolio or Blog Posts option, you must first create a Portfolio or Blog Post custom post type in WordPress. To create a custom post type, you may want to check out this guide. Post-Singular: This restricts the widget to only display standard blog posts. Portfolio Singular: This restricts the widget to only display portfolio items (custom post type). Note: In this example, the image shows the Portfolio Singular option along with Posts Singular. But, if you have not created any post types in WordPress, they will not appear here. Once you create new post types, they will show automatically in the Display section. You can then select any of them as needed. 7. Afterward, click on ‘Save Settings’. 8. Once you click on Save Settings, click ‘Edit with Elementor’. (i) Now, click the ‘+’ icon, type ‘Post Content’ in the search bar, and select it. (ii) Right after click on Post content, it will automatically pull and display the content. (iii) On top of that, you can also add elements like Post Title and Post Featured Image. They will automatically pull and display the post title and featured image as well. (IV) Lastly, go back to the WordPress dashboard, click on Posts, and then click ‘View’ to preview. By creating or editing a post with Elementor, you were able to reuse your saved layout effortlessly.
